Samsung, Apple, US federal court, US federal court, 930 million, the South Korean company, Samsung and Apple, fine Samsung, US court reduced the value of fine Samsung to Apple,

the jurisdictional disputes between the two rivals Samsung and Apple are described as historic because of the many disputes between them,And it's mostly revolve around charges against Samsung to violating patents belonging of Apple.

The huge financial fines that imposed by the US federal court on Samsung in August 2012 are considered the most prominent in the history of the conflict between them, reaching a value of 1.05$ billion, before being reduced to 930 millions.

But a federal appeals court ruled on Monday to accept the lawsuit filed by Samsung to reconsider the value of the last fine,And it decided to conduct a new review of the reduction in the amount of $ 382 million of the total value.and with this decision, the court opens opportunity to low the standard fine in the history of litigation between the two companies, to reach 548 million.

The Court considers that some of the patents that Apple has accused  its rival Samsung to violate, are not eligible to enter under penalty of legal protection, because it relates to the performance of phones, in agreement with the defense lawyer of the South Korean company

Samsung's defense stressed that the company can not be fined because of basic things, such as "a rectangular product has a equal circular edges ," and "flat-screen covering the front end of the product", and these things are the reason that make Samsung being fined.
The court upheld Samsung's defense, arguing that Apple grant legal protection for patents that would give it a monopoly on some features forever, something that I foun, and Apple has not commented yet on the decision of the Appeals Court, Samsung did not determine the extent of satisfaction with the decision.
The legal disputes between the two companies is concentrated in the United States only after they decided in August last year to close the judicial files between them outside the US, and to focus only on open issues in front of the US judiciary.
